Celebrate the Macedon Ranges Wine and Food Budburst Festival 2016 on 12-13 November, 10am-5pm.
Each spring for 26 years, boutique wineries and restaurants nestled within the spectacular Macedon Ranges have thrown open their doors for a single weekend of stunning wine, mouthwatering food and great music and entertainment.
This year, Macedon Ranges wineries at their cellar doors and groups of wineries at hubs, will all open to the public to provide tastings and extend their usual offerings of food and entertainment.
The festival offers a personalised experience to visitors, tasting new and exclusive wines and learning first hand about each wine and the winemaker’s story.
This year, the visitor’s weekend pass will be $20 in the form of a branded tasting glass. Buses will again be touring the vineyards over the festival weekend and we will be working to increase the number of transport buses circulating.
Plan a weekend or a day trip to these small family owned wineries where you can talk to the people who grow the grapes and make the wine. The intimate cellar doors and welcoming country garden settings make you feel right at home.
Winemakers partner up with some of the outstanding food producers and restaurateurs in the region at their cellar doors to offer delicious food to complement their wines.
