Cloud 9 Farm offers the visitor a true paddock to plate experience offering cheese and wine made on the farm! During Aussie Wine Month you can get up-close and personal with the local Dexter cows that produce the milk that cheesemakers Jacquie Deeble and Susan Deeble turn into four delicious cheeses. Alan Deeble, winemaker, makes only one wine per year- Shiraz Merlot and currently has three vintages on tasting.
The beautiful cellar door is adjacent to the Cobaw Forest. Visitors are invited to sit down and relax inside or outside with a cheese platter and a glass of wine or mulled wine. Compare the taste differences in each vintage of Shiraz Merlot.
Decide which cheese you like the best. Is it the White Velvet (a Camembert/Brie style), the Triple Velvet which is a Triple cream camembert, the Cheddar which is aged for 6 months or is it the Grana, a parmesan style aged for 12months? Your decision!
Alan, Jacquie and Susan love a chat. They will show you the farm, the process and get you ‘behind-the-scene’ where the magic of milk-to-cheese, grapes-to-wine happens!
Spend an afternoon with the folks at Cloud 9 Farm.
You’ll feel like …… you are on Cloud 9!
